On May 8th the Olympia-Rafah Solidarity Mural Project (ORSMP), an interactive multidisciplinary mural, created by 150 groups and internationals, was dedicated in Olympia, WA. The mural honors the life and legacy of Olympia native Rachel Corrie, killed in Rafah in 2003, and all who have lost their lives in the struggle for justice.  The mural seeks to use art, culture and technology in innovative ways to increase the strength and visibility of struggles across movements for social justice and to reveal their connections to the struggle in Palestine. An audio component allows viewers to ‘hear’ each image with a local cell phone call.
